The second Disney backpack is based on the 1993 Tim Burton film The Nightmare Before Christmas, which has become a year-round merchandising machine. The design on the front of the backpack features Jack Skellington and Sally standing atop Spiral Hill. Additional features include “adjustable shoulder straps, an enamel zipper of the spectral puppy of Jack, Zero, an enamel brand badge, a back graphic of Jack and Sally and an interior lining design of the pumpkin king and the bats” . In case you haven’t heard, a new series of live-action Beauty and the Beast prequel is coming to Disney + soon with Luke Evans and Josh Gad reprising their roles as Gaston and LeFou, respectively. Josh Gad recently noted in an interview with Collider that the show is the “most ambitious” thing he has ever done.
“I can tell you right away that this is one of the most ambitious projects I have ever been on. Luke and I are thrilled to bring these characters to life alongside some brilliant new talent and unique in Briana Middleton who plays this amazing new character named Tilly. Liesl Tommy, who is our director, plans to do some incredibly ambitious things with this series as well as our showrunners, Adam [Horowitz] and Eddie [Kitsis], which really, really, really go places that I think audiences aren’t necessarily ready for. I can’t be more excited about this show. I think it’s going to be extremely special. ”
