We may not be able to travel right now, but that doesn’t mean I’m not fantasizing about the day when I can possibly book a trip and relax on the beach. Luckily for me, Away’s new collection with Serena Williams makes those dreams a little more real with its beauty.– if there was ever a reason to justify buying a suitcase in the midst of a pandemic, it is this collaboration. The new colors are very tempting, so I take this as a sign to replace the luggage I have stored since February last year.

ICYMI is not Serena’s first collection with Away, but I’m really happy to see a second one. “Travel has always been ingrained in my identity, both professionally and personally, which is why I’m so excited to continue my partnership with Away,” Williams said in a press release regarding the drop.

The collection is available now on Away’s website and features a few new silhouettes and limited-edition colors alongside the classic styles that have made it the luggage brand of choice for celebrities and influencers. Think: bright coral carry-on and pet carrier to make traveling with your pup a little easier, plus brand new items like a jewelry pouch and convertible backpack.

Let Serena Williams create the chicest luggage on the market. I expect nothing less from tennis superstar slash style icon! Our daughter knows how to travel in style, after all, and although I’m more of a neutral girl myself, I can’t help but dream of all the colors in this drop.

Personally, I’ll probably end up choosing a piece with the gray swirl pattern, but the periwinkle, aqua, and coral options are pretty tempting. I am also, admittedly, quite disorganized when it comes to packing—my hand luggage is more like hand luggage—so I really should add the jewelry box to my cart while I shop too.
