Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) has signed a contract with Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a global provider of airport reception services based in Hong Kong, to develop an end-to-end digital platform that will enhance the customer experience and operational excellence at PPG. 70 airport sites serving 20 million passengers per year.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
The long-term partnership aims to reinvent the end-to-end travel experience at airports in three main areas: customer experience, employee experience and operational excellence.
Leveraging its in-depth knowledge of the airline industry, TCS said it was creating a “first-of-its-kind” customized passenger services technology platform for PPG. The new platform aims to improve the customer experience by simplifying bookings for various services at PPG Lounges and other hospitality points.
“The platform will integrate into the broader B2B partner ecosystem, enabling seamless product offerings, selection and service integration, enhancing the airport reception experience and re-energizing the growth of the business, ”TCS said in a statement. The platform is expected to be deployed for the first time at Bangalore International. Airport Limited in early 2022.
