PHOTOS: Get ready to ‘play in the parks’ with new backpacks, keychains and more at Disneyland Park

While shopping this week at Disneyland, we spotted some new merchandise from the “Play in the Parks” collection. We saw backpacks, a photo album, a paper art kit, a puzzle, a magnet, and keychains.

Play in the Parks Backpack – $34.99

This Play in the Parks backpack features Mickey and his friends playing a board game with vehicles as play pieces.

Mickey, Pluto, Donald and Goofy are ready to play! The front has a zipped pocket and embroidered lettering.

The interior of the backpack is quite spacious.

The straps are dark blue with playful yellow accents.

Play in Parks Drawstring Backpack – $24.99

The drawstring backpack continues the “board game” motif with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse holding hands in the center.

Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Tinker Bell join Mickey and Minnie on the front. Disneyland Resort icons fill the rest of the game board.

The back of the bag is plain blue, with dark blue drawstring straps.

Play in the Parks Backpack – $44.99

The third backpack features various images found throughout the Play in the Parks collection on a gray background.

An embroidered patch at the bottom reads “Disneyland Resort”.

The pattern continues on the back of the backpack. You can see Mickey in his Autopia car, Goofy on Astro Orbiter, and various park icons throughout the print.

The sides of the backpack have navy blue mesh pockets for water bottles.

The backpack has a zipper.

The shoulder straps are padded for more comfort.

The interior of the bag is quite spacious. If we look closer, we can see a charging cord!

Yes, this backpack has a charger for your phone! With Genie+ and mobile food ordering, having a built-in charger will be awesome for long park days.

Here we’ve removed the actual charger for closer examination. After a long day at the park, don’t forget to recharge your backpack!

Play in the Parks Paper Art Kit – $16.99

The activity has three main elements, plus tabs for assembly. It is rated from 6 years old.

Here is the finished product on display.

Play in the Parks Photo Album – $24.99

The cover has a cutout in the shape of Mickey’s head for a photo at the bottom right.

Here you can see the width of the album. It contains 200 4×6 photos and two photo CDs.

The photo album says “Disneyland Resort” on the back.

The back of the album features Mickey, Minnie and Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Play in the Parks 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle – $24.99

The Play in the Parks puzzle looks like a Disneyland board game.

The back of the puzzle shows the actual size of the puzzle pieces and gives the dimensions of the finished puzzle, which is a 24″ (61 cm) square.

Play in the Parks Magnet – $7.99

This magnet features Mickey and Minnie along with Disneyland Resort icons, such as Carthay Circle Restaurant, Pixar Pal-A-Round, and Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The day we visited, “mint” items were $7.99. Prices for items marked this way may vary slightly, so be sure to check the price when shopping.

Play in the Parks Keychain – $9.99

This keychain has Sleeping Beauty’s castle and “Disneyland Resort” in all caps.

It also has Minnie on a carousel horse, Mickey in an Autopia car, Goofy on Astro Orbiter, and Pluto riding Dumbo.

This key fob is marked as “red,” which was listed at $9.99 the day we visited, but is subject to change.

Play in the Parks keychain – $14.99

This little autograph book keychain has an image of Mickey and Minnie holding hands with Disneyland Park icons in the background.

The back says “Meet Your Favorite Park Pals!”

When you open it, you can see that many of your favorite characters have already signed it!

The book clasp forms a Mickey when closed.
