After celebrating a Grammy nomination in November, South African DJ and producer Black Coffee has another accolade to share with Mzansi. The song of the star producer Inkodlo Kamashimane is starring in the long-awaited sci-fi film The Matrix Resurrections with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss.
BLACK COFFEE AND MATRIX RESURRECTIONS
Grammy-nominated producer Black coffee took to Instagram on Thursday, December 23 to reveal that her track Inkodlo Kamashimane is presented in Matrix resurrections with the american actor Keanu reeves.
Black coffee Inkodlo Kamashimane is the 10th track from his 2015 album Pieces of me.
Black Coffee shared that he dedicated the song to his father seven years after his death.
“Humble beyond belief to end 2021 with this song, Inkodlo Kamashimane appearing in the new The matrix movie.”
SOUNDTRACK ‘THE MATRIX RESURRECTION’
German director and composer Tyler tykwer and Australian musician Johnny klimek were chosen as the two composers of Matrix resurrections.
Klimek said The Envelope they had set up three studios during the editing for Matrix resurrections used to take place. The studios had to be moved to the Canary Islands (where Klimek lives) due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The two composers who have already worked together shared this director Lana wachowski played an interesting role in the making of the soundtrack.
“We had five studios in operation, two for editorial, three studios for music and we were constantly coming and going with each other. So Lana would just go to the next room and say, “Can you help me with this scene?” “And she would sit down with us and get involved in the whole creative process of music,” Klimek said.

WHAT THE LIFTS SAY ABOUT THE NEW FILM
Matrix resurrections received mixed reviews from movie critics. The GuardianPeter Bradshaw of Peter Bradshaw gave the film two out of five stars, noting that the film “does little to eliminate the anticlimax that hung like a cloud over the cinema auditorium at the end of the third film. in 2003”.
VultureAngelica Jade Bastién has said the film would fail if it weren’t for the on-screen chemistry of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss.
The matrix Resurrections is available to stream on HBO Max.
