The guards – Bijender Kumar, Dalbir and Bal Kishan – said food inspector Devender Singh Dhull asked them to soak the sacks of wheat. Moohana Police Station Investigator Anil Kumar said the four defendants were arrested under Section 269 (a negligent act likely to spread infection) of the IPC. HTC

Kaithal to get 900 Crore Medical College

The detailed project report of a A 900-crore medical university in Kaithal has been approved and construction will begin next month, MP Leela Ram Gurjar said on Sunday. Haryana government calls on social organization to help people in Divyang

Observing that 75% of people with disabilities (divyang) live in rural areas, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya called on social organizations to reach out to them. Dattatraya, who introduced artificial limbs to about 1,200 disabled people in Faridabad, said the government has launched different programs for the rehabilitation of divyang people. The distribution of artificial limbs was organized under the joint umbrella of Maheshwari Seva Trust (Regd) Faridabad, red district cross society, district social welfare department and Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur.
